07:57 05 LUG 2012 (AGI) – The disaster in the nuclear power station of Fukushima was caused in part by man and not only by the earthquake and subsequent tsunami that hit Japan on March 11 2011, according to a parliamentary inquiry into the worst nuclear accident since Chernobyl. "It is clear that this incident was caused by man," states one of the conclusions of the report.
"Governments, regulation authorities and TEPCO [the Tokyo Electric Power Company] failed to show a sense of responsibility to protect people’s lives and society," .
