Just so people know, this is NOT about stirring up anger and rebellion, but about
conquering - or trying to - misinformation, dictatorship, injustice and criminal greed.

(This was sent in 2005, when Paul Martin was prime minister)
Dear
M. Paul Martin:
Below is my response to (a part of) a speech of yours
on May 1st in St. John's, NFLD.
I am really concerned that while in British
Columbia, in the fight with Sun Peaks, RCMP officers hold up signs saying:
«NO INDIANS ALLOWED BEYOND THIS POINT», that you, in a speech
on the other side of the country, can actually claim that «our» history
started with the landing of the «New Arrivals»... How can this
be? I tagged along one of the pictures that the Tribes in question took -
now quite a while ago - .
Are you a man «for the People»,
or a man «for the resources»? It looks pretty bad for all «canadians»...
I hope to hear from you, and I hope to hear your comment on the picture,
too. Is racism encouraged in canada?
(At
the same time, I wrote to the Canadian Broadcasting Company)
... to
the people at «The Current» on CBC radio...
I just
want to share with you (The Current - CBC radio program) the sadness I feel when
I read things like this, and this coming from the man who is leading the country...
Or is he?
With blatent disregard (although so many will disagree),
he gives honor and praise to the Invaders of «Turtle Island»,
and has the gall to say that is «about the time» when history
began... This is what the non-Native philosophy would have us believe, and
almost had me fooled, too. But I know better.
And we wonder why our problems
continue? There are signs everywhere. Corporate greed is only one of the many
faces of the «addiction» for money and it's Evil. But no one is
listening.
Mother Earth is screaming so loud, no one can hear her.
I hope some day we will wake up.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Of
course, no one wrote back to me, except to tell me that my first letter was recieved
by the prime minister's office. Since then, and even before that time, I swore
to myself never to use capital letters in spelling either canada or the united
states, ever again. Amen.¸
