Hamad Medical Corporation has announced that one of the biggest and most ambitious master facility plans which includes building and equipping three state-of-the-art hospitals and a research centre will be delivered at Hamad Medical City in Qatar by 2013, the Peninsula has reported.

The recently released Hamad Medical Corporation Annual Report 2010/11 has shown that the opening of the Al Wakra Hospital, a general community hospital that will serve the Al Wakra area and its neighbouring communities to the south of Doha, has been put off.
