This land is under the protection and jurisdiction of the Women according to Wampum 44 of the Kaianereh'ko:wa, for the coming generations. Canada is breaking its committment to protect the Indigenous right to occupy a stretch of land for 6 miles on both sides of the Grand River from the mouths to its source. Most Six Nations land has been stole through illegal transfers, encroachment and squatting. Your strength and support is needed to stop what could be a blood bath - to call off the cops, the helicopters - the constant threat of violence that hovers over the Six Nations people and their friends and allies.
