COOK ~ Mohawk Nation, wrote to all concerning the Six Nations stand-off:
You
know what? I agree that things are bad. But, you,
crying wolf everyday, is
not the way to go about
gathering support. For one thing, we will be here long
after
the white people have gone. So will our lands.
If
you want to help our people, first calm down and
think and act strategically.
If every missive you send
is in panick mode, begging everyone to react, how
long
do you think it will take before everyone's nerve's
become numb to
our reality? You are, in fact, doing a
dis-service to our cause by sounding
the panick alarm
every day.
