Seems like a harmless, childish comment when viewed in a European prism. After all, we see Arabs in every Hollywood movie killing Americans. In his defense, McCain did refer to Al Qaida, and not Muslims. But did that really make the remarks less or more deplorable?

While approximately 10,000 per year die from the effects of illegal drugs, an article in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) reported that an estimated 106,000 hospitalized patients die each year from drugs which, by medical standards, are properly prescribed and properly administered.
 
 
German scientists discovered that hops that is used in beer production had essential cancer–fighting agents. The results of the study showed that xanthohumol, found in hops contains agents that inhibit enzymes which trigger cancer. Besides, xanthohumol helps in fighting carcinogens

Did you miss this? It should have been the lead story in every newspaper and radio and TV program in America. In the Washington Post it was on page 14. In virtually all of the rest of the media it was on page zero, channel zero, 0000 AM or 00.0 FM.
